I got a fast wireless charging puck on sale, like one of these:

and I wanted to sort of DIY it into that bottom cubby in front of the transfer case before maybe doing a more permanent solution with a different charger (I've seen people mount on the insider/underside of that cubby.
Given the space exists, IDEALLY I'd want to have it "angled up" a bit so the entry is higher than the back, so things would hold a lot better over bumps or offroading and phone less likely to jump out of there.
The charger + phone fit fit just fine, although there's actually just too much space. And given it's a single coil charger, placement has to be a little more precise. I tried using that adhesive weatherstripping to creating a front lip, side "guardrails" and a back pad (if phone goes all the way to back it's not centered over the charger) but ultimately the adhesive just wasn't strong enough.
I don't have a 3D Printer which seems like maybe it would be a great solution here... I thought about making a little insert holder out of like 1/8" wood panel, but not even sure if that would work. Any ideas? In an ideal world I can have the cubby+charger set up so I can easily just place the phone in there without worry
