Horn Issue - Should there be a wire connected here?

Horn stopped working, tried swapping out for a pair of hella horns this afternoon but no luck, fuse 13 is still good so not that either.

could be the an issue on the steering wheel itself or somewhere along the wiring, but i noticed something that looked kinda odd

the factory wires look to go a short run to a connector just down/left of where the horns mount (pic 1&2). it looks like mine is missing the connector/wire that should clip up from the underside? (3rd pic where i pulled the connect and flipped upside-down)

can anyone confirm or verify for me that something should be connected to the other side of this? and if so where it comes from? I can't find a loose wire hanging around anywhere so a bit baffled.

thanks

Looks like the mount tab for the temp sensor but thats a guess.

12 volts and ground = beep, beep.

Don't have that work your way back from there.

I too am chasing an issue with my horn at the moment. My actual horn is working - tested by connecting direct to battery - but not when I press the horn pad on the steering wheel. The fuse also tested OK.

I'm beginning to think it's an issue with the K-Unit relay or wiring in between.

Are all of your steering controls working? Does the horn work intermittently at different steering angles?

Best of luck. Keep us updated if you find the problem.

Does the horn work when you crank the steering wheel left or right, how about with the alarm? Clock spring in the steering column is common failure
