Which LEDs to go with AlphaRex Pro?
Kind of lost here, hoping some of you can help shed some light on which LED to go with for the AlphaRex Pros that I just got for our 2019 ORP.
So far, I've seen recommendations for the following 3 options, but what's made things challenging is the lack of direct comparisons between them --
Hikari
Amazon.com: HIKARI 2020, H7 LED Bulbs, 150% Brightness, 100% Extra Night Visibility, Low High TOP XHP50.2 LED 10400lm 6000K Cool White, Foglight: Automotive
Aukee
Amazon.com: H7 LED Headlight Bulb, Aukee 110W High Power 18,000LM Extremely Bright 6000K Cool White CSP Chips Conversion Kit Adjustable Beam: Automotive
Modifystreet
Amazon.com: Modifystreet H7 LED Headlight Bulbs Conversion Kit 40W 4000lm 6000K Xenon White: Automotive
Am I right to assume that anything with the "H7" designation would fit the housing? Also, is there a max LM (lumens) and W (wattage) that I should be aiming for?

AlphaRex makes several models for the 4Runner that already have LED lights built in. Why don't you get those, then you won't have to worry about what bulbs fit their H7 models.

That's a good suggestion; I do already have my AlphaRexes on-hand though. Also, I just doublechecked their website and Yotamafia's website (where I purchased the AlphaRexs from originally), and neither seem to have a provision/option for replacing the stock Halogens with other LEDs.

Not sure if it applies to the Alpharex but the Hikaras rate as the best LED bulbs in the Tacoma 3rd gen headlights (designed for halogen, halogen bulb still better).

It's not like they're installed yet. I knew I wanted to go with LED/HID over the halogens that they came with.

I would recommend LASFIT. Amazon bulbs typically do not tell the whole story about light output and people are saying their bulbs have 6000 lumen output per side when in reality that is the total for the pair and who knows if those are that efficient. The power those bulbs pull says it all. I talked with alpharex and they said the novas between the low beam and high beam can put out roughly 2100+2600 lumens = 4700 lumens. These LEDs I just swapped into the Pros put out 4000+4000+2400(switch turn signal) = 10,400 lumens. LASFIT also confirmed the lumen output they list is the measured not the projected. I did a video on this install.

Thanks, I already have my low+hi beam bulbs ready to go, but I'll probably order those LASFIT turn signal LEDs.

I debated new lights on my 17 SR5 prem for awhile. I bit the bullet and went with a set of 2021 OEM non pro/limited headlight set. It is defeintely worth the upgrade to the OEM lights. I bought the OEM headlights and fogs lights off a member here for 900 . Install took about 45 min taking my time and 1st time removing front bumper.
I still need to adjust the height of the lights some to find where I like it. I question the factory light alignment from the factory. The 17 halogen lights were bad but was it the alignment that made it worse? I had to lower the 21 LED lights some and will fine tune after a few night drives.

I have Alpharex Pro's with GTR H7's. They were expensive but they are bright. TBH tho the Alpharex side cutoff line is painfully bad no matter what bulb you run unless you run with fog lights on all the time. I am currently retrofitting M2.0 LED's in the stock housings but this route is not for everyone.

I've been looking at the headlights for quite a while now. I have the GTR led headlights. Wouldn't it be better to put the LEDs into the LUXX with the LED projector over the Pro?
