Roofnest Falcon on Victory 4X4 Full Roof Rack

Hello,

I am looking at getting a roofnest falcon rtt.

1) Any of you have that combination?
2) What is necessary to mount it to the Victory4X4 full roof rack?
3) Would you recommend getting the two additional crossbars to mount permanent to the RTT?
4) Or is the mounting bracket option better?
5) What is the length of your crossbars? (I am afraid the 50" width of the Roofnest Falcon RTT will sit on top of the side rails instead of the crossbars)
6) And dimensions of the crossbar? (Website states that the crossbar not be more than 4" wide X 3" tall)

**Copied from Roofnest Website**

Dimensions (Falcon and Falcon XL):

Sleeps 2 adults (regular) or 2 adults plus 1 child (XL)
Interior: 6′ 10″ x 48″ (XL is 6’10” x 58″) on the inside
Exterior: 50″ (or 60″ for XL) wide by 85″ long and 6.5″ high when closed
Width (Left-right) between Roofnest mounting rails: 24″
Minimum distance (front-back) between your rack’s crossbars: 30″
The Falcon weighs 135 lbs (150 for the XL)

Roof Rack Requirements:
Crossbar rating: 140 lbs.
Minimum crossbar length: 40″
Minimum distance between bars: 30″
Suggested distance between bars: 36″- 42″
Crossbar maximum size: 4″ wide 3″ tall
Any shape bar will work (aero preferred)
This set-up will support 600 lbs. when parked

I have not installed this specific tent but you should be able to mount the RTT with our RTT mounts. They will raise it up just above the side rails and allow bolts from the tent rails to drop through.

If you plan on installing the tent often, leaving two crossbars on it does make it a little quicker to install.

How long are your crossbars? I would prefer that the tent lay against all the crossbars to spread the weight.
