Ok children, if you don't have anything constructive to add to the thread then just move on. Only warning.

He's the resident idiot. He's not smart enough to make a good troll. So it's kinda just an annoyance. But we have no real forum moderation here, so it is what it is.

did they ever redo the zero point calibration? Its very specific, and many non-toyota shops don't get it right. Not sure if TSS is tied into that system.
I know my regular shop back then only did a regular calibration and didn't touch the zero point part of it.

First of all, EAD, Douchebag. I asked if anyone had experience with this issue. This ain't my first rodeo. And thanks for making my first few posts on this forum so damn pleasurable. I absolutely love internet toughguys with such heavy keystrokes.
To anyone other than the dickbag that I quoted...
I put a 2-inch front and 1-inch rear kit on the vehicle. IMO, there is way too much wheel well in the rear. I am not towing a boat, so I wanted to make the stance look better. I am not the first one or even the 1001st one to do this. The issue at hand is that only some of the 2020's have this experience. There are 4Runners on here with way more aggressive lifts and rake changes, that do not experience this issue...

I appreciate your thread.
Now, I will have the dealer deactivate all this shit before I get used to it.
Let me know what they used/did if you go this route.
Soon, we will wonder how we drove all these years prior to this I-Nanny stuffy.

I tried resetting the ECU to no avail... I am taking it in tomorrow morning to have the Radar deactivated... I would like to have it recalibrated, but my Toyota dealer seems to think it is impossible... With any luck, a fix will become available in the upcoming months and I can turn it on again.

As a native Floridian, your stated location of “NJ/FL” comes as no surprise.
The absolute scum that chooses to relocate to FL from NY/NJ is mind boggling. Self entitled, obnoxious idiots is a very fair and accurate broad brush. You are the living, breathing embodiment of the well earned stereotype.

By unplugging the battery for 30 min? This could help. I would check for any disconnected wires. If it had no issue after the lift, it could take up to a few hours to throw the error. If you got the alignment days later, then it seems it would be something underneath that the tech must have done.

I had Eibach 2.0 front coilovers installed a couple of weeks ago. Had the shop set it basically level, maybe even .25” high in the front in anticipation of a small lift in the rear. Took it off roading this weekend pretty well loaded in the rear, meaning there was additional squat. Was concerned I might see some TSS issues but happily all worked fine.
Mysterious how this issue only affects some vehicles. Could this be an SR5 vs ORP/Pro thing?

RE the ABS Light. If you watch any of the 4Runner youtube lift installs, there is an ABS cable that needs to managed so it doesn't get cut, while installing the lift.
Wondering if that's the cause of your issues?
I watched a bunch of those videos and decided that I'd let a professional install my lift. Too many ways to kill myself doing it by myself.

Wow... The drivers side wire is severely crimped and I hadn't noticed it. I actually had a local shop do the work, since it is cold as hell here. I should have done it myself. I appreciate the suggestion to look at it.

Figure that Pre-collision system is ABS related.
Hopefully not too expensive of a fix.

I'm another 2020 owner with a lift... 2 and half inches in the front and a little under 2" in the back on Bilstein 5100s. No tss problems. Hopefully it's just the ABS cable. The shop that installed my lift had a lot of experience and does their alignments in house. (Stellar Built in Sacramento) They may have an insight into your problem. The Toyota dealership in Walnut Creek CA sells new 2020s with installed spacer lifts (with a hefty markup), so they could have some info on potential tss issues.
