planning an audio system upgrade and was wondering if anyone could clarify the setup i have planned. vehicle is a 2020 4runner non-jbl
based on this video
Toyota 4Runner Stock Stereo Overview - How to upgrade the audio in your 4Runner Series - YouTube
the rear door and cargo speakers are each 2ohm and wired in series
i plan on running a 5 channel amp that will get speaker level inputs from the stock headunit and is rated to power the main channels at
75w X 4 @ 4ohm
100 X 4 @ 2ohm
so there will be 2 channels that will power the 4 rear speakers (2 rear door and 2 cargo speakers). i plan on getting new 4ohm speakers, how will this affect the power draw of the amp? i'm a little confused about using 4ohm speakers but that's pretty much the only thing you can find in the aftermarket
can anyone explain the math involved and what i need to account for?
thanks in advance!
