That sounds nice! Any pics!? And you’re rubbing ? At full lock!? How do you like the size ? Would you go back to 255/75?

255/80r17 on stockers. 1.75 bilstein inch lift front, 1.25 bilstein/longer coils rear.

I rubbed the front fender liner full lock in reverse, but have since remedied that situation with the fender liner mod. No BMC needed.

It is an ARB Deluxe model. If you do pick one up i also recommend the led fog lights and going through 4wp, they pay shipping if you pick up in store.

Toyo Open Country A/T III 255/80R17 E load 33" pizza cutters on stock suspension and oem Trail wheels, no additional offsets. 44 psi front, 43 rear but I'll be doing a chalk test soon to dial them in. They fill up the wheel well nicely. The spare is a tight fit but it went in without having to air down. No rubbing in drive or reverse, but that's just turning the wheel from lock to lock while driving around a parking lot. If you hit a dip hard enough with the wheel turned you'll likely get some rubbing.

I had a very minor rub on the left mudflap while turning onto a side street when I hit a valley gutter at about 15-20 mph. The stock front suspension is pretty soft as we all know, and it dipped just enough to briefly make contact. No damage whatsoever. Mine is weighted down with 90 lb sliders which are symmetrical, but there is more loading on the left side with a 200 lb driver and a full tank of gas. Also, it has a 3/16" lean to the left even unloaded in the garage, so....it is what it is. I'm not getting a lift until later this year, but I have no concerns about running these tires.

Looks really good! I ended up removing my front mud flaps before I put my lift on. I had pretty much no rubbing with the mud flaps removed.

Thank you, and thanks for the tip. I may remove the mudflaps temporarily if it happens again.

There was an awesome deal for 285/70/17s recently. I have been on the lookout for 255/80/17s with no luck yet. Do not think I have seen any 255/75/17s on sale either during my search.

I saw that and I believe it was for Wildpeaks. Definitely an awesome deal, but I'm looking to depart from that particular tire.

Costco has $150 rebate on Michelin and BF Goodrich. BFG has a KO2 C load in 255/75R17 but the price is stupid at $244/tire compared to $207/tire for oem size 265/70R17.

Check out tirebuyer.com. They have an 8% discount code for online purchases "ONLINEONLY8" (I think), and free shipping. Plus there was a $50 prepaid visa card when I bought mine, but not sure this is still active.

Saved me about $120 vs Discount Tire.

I notice that once you go from 255/75/17 to 255/80/17 the tires are automatically e load? Does this sound about right?
