Best 1.5-2 inch lift kit?
Who makes the best 1.5-2 inch body lift or shock spacer kit for 5th gen?
I’ve got a 2017 TRDP, factory tires are on the back half of their life. When replaced, I want to do a bigger tire and a lift. Looking for personal experiences and opinions.

Depends on what you want to do/trips you take with the car! Also wheel offset is an important factor when considering larger tires as lifting an IFS doesn't necessarily clear a tire (will reduce the frequency of rubbing but will still rub when full compressed).
Imho the absolute best off the shelf wide budget shock would be the Bilstein 8112s. Beyond that would be custom valved shocks from any of the big names like King, ADS, Fox, Radflo etc.
For simple trips and nothing too crazy in the desert, Dobinson IMS or Bilstein 6112s are of great value. IMS are progressive and Bilstein are digressive valved. The IMS can be more precisely adjusted for height compared to the 6112s so that may be something to consider.

I don’t off-road my 4R, I just simply want to do a minor lift to allow for some bigger tires. Will be utilizing the stock TRDP wheels and maybe throw on some 1.25 spidertrax.
Not looking to replace shocks that’s why I’m wondering who makes the most dependable body lift or shock spacer kits that get 1.5-2 inches of lift

I recommend Toytec for the body lift and shock spacers, but they’re not recommended (by Toytec) if you have a TRD Pro. TRD Off Road Premium - ok. I don’t know why they say not to use the spacers with a TRD Pro. You can ask them. They were very helpful when I had questions about my 3” lift kit.
On my 4th gen, I’ve had the 1.25” spidertrax and both the Toytec 1” body lift kit and their shock spacer kits. I have since replaced the shock spacer kits with the Toytec/Bilstein 5100 3” lift kit (2” in the rear) because my stock coils were old and tired.

Only the limited trim has XREAS. It's some hydraulic set up that helps with body roll.

I can’t seem to find anyone else that makes a 2 inch lift like rough country. Any other businesses out there?

I'd avoid a body lift. With how inexpensive spacer kits are it makes zero sense to mess with a body lift. Cornfed Suspension has simple spacer kits that will work fine for what you need. (@2016 4Runner SR5 is a dealer on here and is great to work with). Rough country is a cheaper brand, but I'd imagine they can't mess up an aluminum spacer kit. Avoid their shocks or anything as they are poor quality.
Otherwise, try to find one of the Bilstein 6112 kits.

Thought a spacer lot and body lift were the same thing.
I went with a Daystar kit. 2.5” front and 1” rear. Kept stock front coils n rear shocks.
I wasn’t looking for max articulation from a true suspension lift. I just wanted more height so I was dragging axle housing n skid plates all the time.
Looks great and works well. Also allowed me to run 285’s w stock wheels.
My struts n shocks now need replaced. I’ll probably keep the spacers in the rear n go w taller Bilsteins n do the Bilsteins up front t w the adjustable spring height.

Not at all. Spaces go between the springs/struts and their mount. The result is the suspension is pushed down which raises the rest of the vehicle, i.e. anything not part of the suspension is raised -- frame, body, etc. -- as well as anything attached to the frame/body, such as engine, transmission, transfer case.
A body lift moves the body only above the frame. The frame is NOT raised, and anything attached to the frame is not raised. This can only be done on a vehicle that has "body on frame" construction, such as the 4Runner. A vehicle with a unibody construction, like most cars, cannot have this done because there is no separate frame.

Here is a front suspension spacer.
Don't know the brand, it was on the truck when I bought it. 285/70R17 fits nicely. Don't know the specs of the aftermarket wheels as they were on there too.
I'm sure there is a spacer on the rear spring too, but it's hidden if it's there.
When the shocks need replacing I will go with longer shocks/springs as my drive from home is not paved, seldom graded, and I do occasionally go mild to mid offroading.

I did the Burtman Industries 1.5/1” UHMW Cornfed spacer lift on my Pro. I started with 275’s, but I am now running 285’s. Inexpensive and they have worked great on and off road for two years now.
