Plenty of pics in this thread. Post your LIFTED pix here!
I personally would stick with 285/70-17’s. Good all around performance, looks, availability, mpg won’t suffer too bad and no gear change or recalibrated speedometer required. If you have ORP or Pro wheels there is no need for a BMC

Here's what you're looking for. 285/70/17 tires on TRD Off-Road wheels, with a 3 inch lift.

Did you have to cut/trim your bumper?

How do you like the 285’s after running the 275’s for so long?

He did the high clearance mod, which, is not required for the 285’s. You may just need to do some minor front fender trimming.

I like the 285s quite a bit. A lot of my happiness stems from the fact that the KO2s, in retrospect, were not that good. My new tires seem to be better in every way, outside of road noise and gas mileage. No more steering wheel shake, not even a little bit (and it was bad, I just learned to live with it). I'm happy with the size, but may go to 285/75 the next time around.

And yes, my front bumper was trimmed for higher clearance, and it has the added benefit of being out of the way of my tires as well.

What tires did you go with, I am looking at Yokohamas Geolander M/T's 2003

I got a killer deal on some Ironman MTs. I had never heard of them before. But bought and installed they cost $100 from a family member in the tire business, so I figured I'd give them a try.

I like them a lot so far. Better in snow than KO2s. Seem to do fine on ice too. No steering wheel wobble. Only downside I've noticed is that they are louder.

Too much analysis paralysis in this thread. Get the 3" lift and UCAs, the wheels you want, the tires and tire size you want, and deal with the rest later. If you rub a bit then do a BMC and trim the bumper a bit. No one can give you an exact answer as each lift, UCA, tire, and truck is different. If you can't find someone on the coast to fab you a bumper then take it to shops in B'ham or Huntsville.
