This was also my first thought about it being so short and tucked. It looks like a nice exhaust otherwise. I do think fumes would be a concern with this?

Meaning pretty much any N.A. v6 sounds like crap when you put an aftermarket exhaust on it

I misunderstood.
This engine does sound like meh but I would like a tab bit of sound. Nothing louder than a stock FJ would be fine.

Flowmaster
Not sure why you need replacing the normal 2 1/2 " pipe for just a muffler swap ? Flowmaster delta suv 50 series is what I went with ! Yes its healthy but inside no drone & I'm a smooth jazz kinda guy & no bothersome drone , plus love when I pass someone & give it the gas 90$ & 90$ install .

lol, so much dislike.
Personally I don't give a shit who doesn't like it, I said I like the way the pro sounds, hated to drone, if this does not drone... win win, if not it goes back, simple.
Go hate on a Prius forum, why pick on MagnaFlow

I'll be curious to see more reviews as they come out about this. Only concern which was brought up was the exhaust possibly going into the cabin. Other than that, not half bad to quiet things down.

Also its a V6, short of a narrow angle DI injected engine...they will really never sound "good" with an aftermarket exhaust system AND NOT drone at some point lol.

Ever heard a flat six scream? It’s obviously the exception, but the sound is incredible.

It's not an exception to a narrow-angle V6, it is not a narrow-angle V6.

Took it for a 45 minute ride both hwy and in town. Sounds great when it starts up. Sounds great in town driving with a feather foot. Basically anything over 1300 to 1400rpm it makes it so bluetooth is unusable and the sound in the cab and down right bad. set the cruise at 55 brings me to 1500rpm, bluetooth not usable and drive is obnoxious... soon as you hit an incline..Drone! No way would a road trip be pleasant. Rig is totally unloaded and I'm not gonna waste my time hooking up the trailer. Not sure what they were thinking?
The TRD system drones "yes" but the overall driving experience is better.
The good? Starting the rig sounds bad ass, idling through town sounds good and coasting up to a stop light when it down shifts sounds awesome and at a stop light you can hear the engine run, zero exhaust.
Can't answer the smell in the back window deal as it's 25 outside. Tried it one time and aside from cold all my crap started blowing all over the cab so had to shut the windows!

Did you try all of various configurations as shown above? Surprised it would have that much drone when its advertised as a no drone.

No because the instructions show the other 2 configurations as more aggressive sound

Do you plan on returning them? False advertising?
