My general rule for harbor freight tools are/is: Look at the tool labels for where its made. They usually have the same almost exact tool under a different part number and made in various parts of the world. For example: I had a Made in China harbor freight torque wrench slip bad. I took it back and looked through the boxes for different country of manufacturer. I found a Made in Taiwan tool. Generally, i find Taiwanese quality to be better than its chinese counterparts. So far the Taiwanese torque wrench hasnt failed but then again i've only for a little bit since the warranty exchange. Oh its lifetime warranty too.
I generally follow this rule for anything I buy if given the choice.

Funny you say that, my latest torque wrench is from harbor freight and its the "Pittsburgh Pro" 62431 lifetime warranty made in Taiwan, and it has been way more reliable then all my other ones and I think I paid less than $20 for it, some of my other torque wrenches have been over $100 and have caused me more grief. snapped head bolt, snapped a cam bolt, snapped a water pump bolt, ETC.... NOT fun!

I really hope that the URD Y-Pipe and the Magnaflow will be just right, you have me a little worried. I'm used to pretty loud exhaust so I might be ok. I have a 2008 350Z Nismo with a JIC magic full titanium exhaust. it's 80mm so closer to 4".... its pretty ridiculous, and the sad part is is still has all the cats, resonator and a silencer. "Fingers crossed!"

If you life depends on the tool don't buy it a harbor freight.
Don't by "accurate important" things like Torque Wrenches there.
Buy one from Tekton or Capri which isn't much more money and is a whole lot better... Lifetime Warranty.
Some tools are fine to go cheap on, Torque Wrenches aren't one of them.
Harbor Freight should not even be in the running when buying precision tools.
Torque Wrenches | TEKTON(R) | Free Shipping
End rant...
Now let's see and hear some of these exhausts... I want one!

Thanks for the link, I checked it out. Pretty good prices and I think I remember watching an interview with Tekton on one of the overland expo event videos. I'm still chomping at the bit waiting for my exhaust to get here. I'll have pics and my thoughts on it, ASAP!

I legit don't get the point in spending money on an exhaust system for an underpowered 6 cyl. If I could make it silent, I'd be stoked.

because like you said, it's under powered and I'm hoping it might help. Plus possible better MPG, better clearance, and hopefully lighter. That is what I'm looking forward to testing and hopefully getting out of it.

the only thing that helps enough to make a difference in power and MPG is a supercharger. I highly doubt you're going to be able to tell any difference at all in weight from an exhaust pipe on a 4800 lb vehicle.

I know it's apples and oranges, but when I replaced my exhaust on my 350z Nismo years ago, the power was VERY noticeable and my rear end lifted 2.5 inches from the weight difference. Yes, it was dual to single, and stainless to titanium. So very different, I also mentioned pairing the magnaflow with the URD y-pipe. which might make 2 other things disappear from the system, in hopes of more power and better MPG, when not romping on it. If I had the money to throw down right now on a supercharger and no regard for my warranty, I totally would... just not an option at the moment, so I settled for trying this route. You might be right, but I'll never know if I don't try, so hopefully others can learn from my experience. oh and BTW, I would argue a turbo is far more efficient then a supercharger, specifically talking MPG, but they have way more parts to break and way more finicky. I have been down that road and still own one vehicle that I turboed and honestly never want to do it again unless it's a Track built car.
