Seems everyone here is running it on the quietest setting?
Anyone tried the other two?

Haha, would have if it wasn't so loud out of the box in quietest config. I went underneath to tighten bolts but they were already snug.

It’s on. Took about 3hrs but that’s only b/c the old Gibson was a pain in the ass to remove.
Things to note:
get a new gasket from Orillys part number 31639, most Toyota dealers don’t keep it in stock.
If you get new Walker Exhaust rubber hangers, get ready to drill them out, holes are wrong diameter.
Put 300 miles on it today and so far very pleased. In quietest configuration it doesn’t really drone around 2k which is fwy cruising. 1500rpm under load it drones a bit but sounds good with windows down around town.
Less headaches, don’t have to shout over it or turn the radio up. Overall more pleasant to drive with, still feels like the engine breathes better and no rattles. Fit, finish and fitment are as good as it gets.
Overall it’s waaaaay better then the Gibson which I should have gotten rid of years ago. Would buy again and might update if things change.

I still have mine configured at the loudest setting. It has quieted down a bit since first install. I had to readjust a few times as i was getting a squeak from the rear hanger on bumps, but its gone now. I have a trip to tahoe coming up, which i'll most likely put at the quietest setting beforehand. Cruising at highway speed doesn't seem to be that loud. Seems noisiest when driving up slight incline and keeping the revs low. Don't go WOT too often so i can't really comment on that. I'm happy with the added clearance and sound. Will probably sell my TRD exhaust soon.

Is anyone running maganflow overland with 4.88 with 35's
Hey everyone, Im running 4.88 gears on 35s and curious if there is drone issues noticed by anyone that's running this combination. the RPMs haven't changed much except when I'm climbing, but im hoping my cruise rpms aren't out of the sweet spot for this exhaust etc. Thanks

Would tell ya as soon as i get my gears and 35s on. Its a lower note than the drone from Pro exhaust.
Currently I'm at 2200rpm/80mph and 2700rpm/90mph and cabin buzz is nore comfortable than with original exhaust while cruising. Expect the rpms to be closer to 3000rpm at 90mph.

I'm potentially having issues with this exhaust after install. Likely just inexperience installing an exhaust before, but it was fairly easy. Anyway, love the sound, but I'm getting thumping sounds after hitting bumps on the road or when off road. I noticed tight clearances between the pipe and the rear cross member and underbody. I need to get underneath the truck to verify, but just wondering if anyone had any similar experiences. TIA!

Ok I think I fixed it. Looks like I didn't have the tail pipe assembly adjusted correctly and it was forcing the mid-pipe up higher and coming into contact with one of the heat shield fasteners. All seems good for now, just in case anyone runs into a similar issue.

Back in November I finally ordered and added the URD Y-Pipe to the Magnaflow overland exhaust. It's not nearly as loud as I was scared it might be. WOT it's ridiculous, but it's rare that happens. MPG went up a tad more, not as much as I was hoping for, but still a plus.

how much is a tad of mpg? I find that tire inflation makes more of a difference with mpg than anything else

I average around 18.5 mpg now, stock I was at 16.5, rocksliders dropped to 16.25, S&B intake got me to a little over 17, magnaflow overland exhaust got me to almost 18, URD Y-Pipe put me now are averaging 18.5. mostly city driving or what you would call mixed driving. Haven't done any road trips, so no idea what the highway MPG is yet.
Hope this helps, and yes, I constantly keep my tire pressure good and it does help.
