Well add me to the list of peope dumping the Gibson and going to this. Will have in about two weeks so looking forward to that.
One question I have for you guys that have the Magnaflow installed-
Are you using the U pipe configuration? Apparently this piece is no longer included due to clearance issues?
I'm just wondering if this was key to eliminating drone or if just addding the resinator can will suffice.
Thanks

For my setup (older model) the U-pipe is essential since the NDT chamber is so big. It reduced droning but for me after a year I prefer quieter. The new one has a smaller NDT chamber maybe thsts why no more U-pipe.
I will keep the awesome high clearance side exit but putting stock muffler back in. Will require piping mod from stock muffler to fit in with Magnaflow side exit rear pipe.

If you are done with the Magnaflow muffler parts I might be interested in buying the U-pipe?

anyone that has done this exhaust, I would urge to look at adding the URD Y-pipe to it.

whats your reasons? I see you have it. This would've been the setup i'd go with if i were planning to do exhausts.

delete 2 of the 4 cats that you don't need (doesn't throw codes or need any special electronics), better clearance and flow, little bit of MPG gain, and not nearly as loud as I was scared of.

I drive with mine down a lot and never smell anything, not even when I'm standing around the back with it idling.

Things to note:
get a new gasket from Orillys part number 31639, most Toyota dealers don’t keep it in stock.
If you get new Walker Exhaust rubber hangers, get ready to drill them out, holes are wrong diameter.
Put 300 miles on it today and so far very pleased. In quietest configuration it doesn’t really drone around 2k which is fwy cruising. 1500rpm under load it drones a bit but sounds good with windows down around town.
Less headaches, don’t have to shout over it or turn the radio up. Overall more pleasant to drive with, still feels like the engine breathes better and no rattles. Fit, finish and fitment are as good as it gets.
Overall it’s waaaaay better then the Gibson which I should have gotten rid of years ago. Would buy again and might update if things change.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. But what is the reasoning for the new gasket from oriellys? Would there be any issues if I dont install? I installed this exhaust used on my new 2022 4runner and dont recall a gasket
