From what I gathered on MANY forums for different Toyota models, Toyotas are more "miss" than "hit" with driving to program.
I wasted too much of my time on this...
(With how many wheels the truck can have programmed and this and that...
I hate running into "stupid" issues like that.)
SO.... I went for the CLONE option with blank sensors and a programmer so I can clone all five if I wanted (I only have 4 as one set is Winter and tires are cheap enough to replace), and hopefully the truck cannot tell which 4/5 are mounted.
Seems the Autel is proprietary which may cause me issues in the long run as you are stuck with their stuff, and in a pinch, from what IIIII understand, should I ever need a shop, they would need an Autel programmer.
(Which is why I don't use Apple at all and Sony items, besides headphones. Sony HAS relaxed with proprietary stuff, but has not stopped totally.
