Most important tool is a torque wrench. I’m telling you, if you don’t tighten things back up right you are literally a bullet on the interstate.

So I started the lift today, I got the rear out and I am trying to put the springs in without a compressor. I lifted the other side and it opened it up a little but not enough to get the springs in. I am now waiting on a spring compressor. I only need to compress it a inch.

Could have someone stand on the rotor, may give you what you need. Disconnected the sway bar links and shock on both sides?

I didn’t use a spring compressor. I just removed the lower shock bolts, sway bar end links and the lower end of the pan bar. While frame is held up, use a jack a lift up one end of the rear end, then the other end allows for the spring to come out. Install the spring and repeat for the other side.

So this is where I am at I have everything on, how can I tighten this though, this is the passenger side rear. I now know to pay someone to do this. I am still working on the rear passenger side and havent even started the the drivers rear or the front and I am over 6 hours into this. It's enjoyable but I have no clue how to torque the nut in the picture or even tighten it, the body is sliding and when I use a cresent wrench it is taking the paint off of it.

All the tools everyone has mentioned above, wanted to also share if/when you get realigned, make sure they torque the cam adjusting bolts to spec or they will probably clunk like my buddies did, he had to get a 2nd alignment and re torqued to spec.

This was my first time installing a suspension in a 4unner.
1. When installing new UCA, do I need load the arm before torquing ?
2. When installing pan bar, do I need to load it before torquing ?

Not sure what brand shock your using, but most have flat sides on the top stud that you can hold with a small wrench. Barring that, jack up the axle to compress the shocks, may help. From the one pic, looks like a missing washer on the lower bushing.

This viedo helped a ton,but I dont have the 6mm square at the top of the threads to tighten the top shock but. I ended up taking the shocks off and re doing it like the video.

Its OME Nirto shocks nike in the video below I am just missing something to tighten the nut down.
