Offset and Backspacing HELP!

Hello everyone, first post here. I just purchased a 2021 ORP in magnetic grey! I'm adding the eibach pro-truck lift which is 2.75 front and 1 rear, with JBA UCA's. I picked out 285/70/r17 Ridge Grapplers but am having trouble picking rims. I want enough to clear UCA's and have the least amount of trimming possible with the tire upgrade. I really love these fuel coverts, they come in two different sizes and I'm not sure what would be best. Size 1: 01mm offset with 5 inch backspacing. Size 2: -12mm offset with 4.5 inch backspacing. Thanks!!

I'm running 17x8 - 10 offset (4.1BS) wheels with a 305/70 tire and have no rubbing with proper alignment. you second choice is better.

Heck I saw some cool Fuel wheels that have -44mm backspacing I am seriously considering those.

With the Jba, you can only run up to 4.5” back spacing & 315/17/70 before you come close to hitting the UCA.

You are going to be limited with your alignment using JBA’s, especially pushing caster forward so you don’t rub the body mount, pinch welds etc.

As was already said that backspacing is known to be a problem with the JBA UCA's. I'd look at a different rim if you have your heart set on the JBA UCA's.
That being said, I run Fuel Revolvers in +1 5 inch. It's a great setup when paired with the right UCA's. I run 285/75's currently and have run 305/70's in the past without any rubbing on the UCA's. However, be prepared to have a BMC and do some chopping front and rear on the fender liner and make sure your caster is between 4 and 5 degrees.
Honestly if you love the rims just get a different UCA that's more universally compatible.

Every time I see one of these threads I wish I wouldn't have gone with JBA UCA's

Have you checked the recommended rim sizes for 285's on the JBA website? Turns out i still have them handy from the last time this issue was posted.

LT285/70R17 (32.7" x 11.2") tire on 17 x 9 wheel, -12mm offset (4.50" backspace)

LT285/70R17 (32.7" x 11.2") tire on 17 x 8.5 wheel, -9mm offset (4.30" backspace)

LT285/70R17 (32.7" x 11.2") tire on 17 x 8.5 wheel, 0mm offset (4.75" backspace)

LT285/75R16 (32.8" x 11") tire on 16 x 9 wheel, -19mm offset (4.25" backspace

Yes I saw this! Perfectly fits the fuel covert. They have a -12mm offset and a 4.5" backspacing. Makes it an easy option now lol
