I searched for a long while trying to find a garage in DC that wasn't a steep descent into a low ceiling and never was successful. Eventually I just accepted the fact if I wanted a garage I'd need to look towards Arlington and just learn to use the MTA.
It really all depends on where you typically go. For me, 85% of the time I went into NOVA so I initially found a garage in Rosslyn that offered a monthly rate. It also didn't hurt I was able to write off most of my parking though it was a hassle to keep accurate data. The problem with the Rosslyn location was it took FOREVER to get topside, especially when I would ride my bike down to Foggy Bottom instead of waiting for a bus.
Again I can't remember the last garage I chose, which I used for almost 2 years. It's more I can't remember what Metro station I used since the garage was accessible while staying underground. It was either Falls Church or Ballston though I'm tempted to say the latter because I remember often hitting the Food Court in the Mall's basement because it was quick to get to after I parked.
After getting used to this it's the method I actually preferred because it really did save a massive amount of time. My roomate and I could leave at the same time with him parking on the street and me needing to Metro hop. I could beat him out to Chantilly by easily 30min and that was on a weekend. If it was a weekday that time difference would be hilarious.

Really appreciate your feedback here amigo.
Truth is, this car will be used sparingly... I have a car that is a lease, that is the main work horse.
I have started down a new worm hole... trying to find a detached car garage for sale in Georgetown. Some of the asking prices have been ridiculous, but in talks with a few sellers now...
Thanks again!
