I use a TransK9 box for my dogs. I do a lot of field training so dealing with wet/muddy Labradors is a regular occurrence.

These boxes are made specifically to fit a wide variety of vehicles.

#1 for the canvass back and then a rubber mat for the cargo area. I throw a rug on the Matt for the dogs comfort.

Any farm/tractor store sells rubber mat for cheap. I buy a large section, then cut it to size for a custom fit.

I would also need such a box for my dog in the future. I still don't need it because my dog is a puppy. I have wanted a service dog for a long time and recently bought myself a labrador. I want to work on it to make it perfect from all points of view. Besides the fact that I want to go with him to various pieces of training, I also went to an online page to do Service Dog Registration to receive the necessary equipment for my service dog. I recommend that all service dog owners fill out this online form because there are many benefits.

Nice GSPs. The larger one looks like my first one (have had 5-6, all but one were rescues). Now we have only our pointing griffon but I do miss the GSPs.

I use a couple of surplus Army blankets. Useful for covering things in the back, in cold weather, and for the dog. Wife and I volunteered at a homeless veteran's event and we were given "freebies" (we got two new "surplus" sleeping bags for working, as well as a couple of items because I am a vet). Anyway, we got a couple of bivvy bags and a couple of blankets that I keep in the car.
