Updated. Method 312 double black wheels on. Pics
I am buying new wheels for a different look, more concavity and a more aggressive stance as compared to my factory 17 x 7 +4 Pro wheels. I have a black 4Runner with 285/70-17’s and I am trying to decide between the following two wheels. Both wheels are 17 x 8.5 with a 0mm offset and 4.75 backspace.
KMC 724 OL machined silver or the
Method 312 double black.
Edit: I had the poll setup, but it didn’t show

which do you like better? I personally would go with the more "classic" wheel design or simpler design, so you won't get tired of it a few years from now.
I just like fatty lips, have you checked out the summit dakar?

I did check them out, but, they are 9” wide with a -25 offset and would definitely require a bmc. I have plenty of clearance with the Pro wheels and have no rubbing.
I somewhat prefer the 724 silver machined for a totally different look, but, it may not look as aggressive as the black and too factory looking. The matte graphite with the gloss black lip and bolt would match the truck. I’m not a big faux bead lock fan and with the ring and bolt’s painted black, it may look good. Tough decision for me.

You will be seriously waiting for a long time. I don't think I've ever seen a wheel manufactured in the US before. Do you know where your 4runner was built?

I'd look at it more from a functionality perspective, in theory you are going to drive your 4runner offroad yes? The Bead Grip technology in Method wheels is very enticing and functional. That alone would pull me toward their wheels.

Yes, Japan.
Most wheels, other than a few manufactures are China.
OEM? You can find them if you search. But most truck wheels are chinesium

Vote for the Method. Like the look more and a better brand than KMC from what I know of stuff (I'm sure some will disagree).

I agree, but the Methods the OP listed don't have bead grip. I think only wheels that are their 700 series or the beadlocks (on the inner bead) have bead grip. Of the 2 shown, I would do KMC. The KMCs vs a bead grip Method...then I pick the method

The KMC is made in the U.S. The Method is Chinesium, lol. Worse material than unobtainium.
And unfortunately, the 312 does not have the bead grip technology.
The bead grip wheels are 701 through 707. Link here: Bead Grip Wheels – Method Race Wheels
I’m leaning towards the KMC 724 as it is completely opposite of the black wheels. They do not have bead grip technology.
I kind of like the Method 703 in gloss titanium and they have the bead grip. I don’t want bronze.
Although I do some challenging 4wheeling, this is my daily driver. So 15-18 psi works for me. No extreme stuff like Xtremeluck. Apropos name for this member.
Keep your comments coming. Thanks.

703’s in gloss titanium. Classic Toyota stripes optional center cap for the 700 series.

Went with the Method 312 double black in a 17 x 8.5 x 0 offset. It gives it a nicer, slightly wider stance, and the tires look a half size larger now.
The flat black looks like graphite in certain light. The gloss black ring and bolts pick up the vehicle paint. The flat black centers pick up all the matte and satin black finishes, i.e. front bumper, side door window frames, etc. The Pro wheels are nice looking, just wanted something a little wider with some concavity after 4.5 years.
A pretty conservative decision, but a little different.
Thinking about adding a red TRD logo or classic Toyota stripes to the center caps.
