These wheels/tires a good deal?

I have stock 2020 ORP. Been wanting to upgrade the wheels and tires. Found someone local selling a set of New aftermarket TRD pro wheels 17x8 with falken wild peak 265/70/17 for $1350. Unfortunately no TPM sensors. Does this seem like a good deal and anything I should look out for or be concerned about?

If it really is a 17x8 wheel, then it is a knockoff TRD wheel. Just something to think about. TRD wheels are 17x7.

Thanks for pointing that out which is kind of the reason I'm posting if that should be a concern and if there's something I should look out for with knock-offs.

Meh, for 300-400 more you can get actual TRD wheels and your choice of new tire. Unless they are OEM and the size was a mistake, then it wouldn't be terrible.

I think I spent about $1500 total for Michelin Defenders and OEM TRD PRO wheels for the wife's 4Runner a couple months back. Swapped over her TPMS and junked her oem sr5 wheels.

Edit: Used Bamwholesale for the wheels and discount tire for the tires.

Good point ran the numbers and came out a little over $1400 for the same set up through BAM and Discount tire. I would still have to pay for the mount and balance but I would have had it do that anyway just swap out my TPM sensors.

I reckon maybe just pay a bit more for OEM, then buy the tires from Discount Tire which may come with free installation? Idk, don't have one here and I use a local shop that treats me right (military friendly perks). Plus if anything goes bad, it should be covered. That peace of mind is something I pay a bit extra for when I can.

TRD Pro wheels aren't an 'upgrade' from your OR wheels, in terms of off-road functionality, but if you prefer the way they look then by all means get some (preferably oem, like the other guys suggested). Who knows where those aftermarket wheels are made - China, if I had to guess.

Cheapest I've seen these Falkens on Amazon right now at $136. If you have the prime visa that's another 5% off.

Yes I prefer the way the TRD wheels look over the ORP.

I’d pass on those.
What first gave it away we’re the center caps.
As others said, pay a few more $$ and get OEM and tires of your choice with warranty.
