This topic is relevant to my interests, at least on the most basic of concerns.

I haven't been able to decide between RCI and CBI skids on my TRDP. I haven't decided if I want to rip out the factory skid to go CBI or just stick to the RCI because it's easier.

I'll certainly be interested to hear if you can make one set work with the other and vice versa, even if it's not exactly my main issue at the moment.

Catalytic converter theft is still a booming business. Just saw this article. Marin county CA (north of San Francisco), thieves caught with over 300 converters.

“Deputies say the pair coordinated with a recycler in Southern California and had sold over 2,500 catalytic converters to the recycler since January. The two received several hundred thousand dollars from those sales to the recycler.”

Cat Thefts in Passaic County New Jersey

I got an email alert from Ring “Neighbors” yesterday. I just saw a report for a catalytic converter theft in Clifton in Passaic County New Jersey on the app. They cut it off of an older CRV.

Anybody can sign up on the Ring “Neighbors” app. You can select any area around you as big as you want. It might be a good idea to do this so you can see the reported thefts by people with Ring in your area and determine how often it happening.
