Window tint color

I had my 21 front windows tinted and the color does not match at all. ( the tint shop promised to make it right or refund me the money) anyone had this issue? And if your tint matches which film did you use. Thanks

Thanks. As seen in my picture. The front is really brown looking. Does your have more blue look like the factory rear?

Fronts are always going to be a bit lighter than the rear due to the windshield unless you tint that.

With that said, I went with Llumar Pinnacle Series and 15% all around.

The OEM tint is smoked glass while the stuff you had put on is a film over the glass. It can be hard to match the color. Ask what brand film was used.

I had my front's done with 20% Suntek, it came out a brown tint as well. They are being redone.

You'll be able to match it, the installer probably did what mine did and didn't pay attention to the overall "color tint"... The Toyota's are bit more blue/gray. My 2018 has a near perfect match with 3M Ceramic

I did 20% in the front and thought it looked good from the outside but inside the car was a clear difference between front and back. I took it back and had 35% put over the factory tint and it still looks good from the outside and much better on the inside. There is a very slight greenish tint to the front windows that I don't think will ever go away unless I went limo.

On a lot of, not all, vehicles, if you look close enough, you will see not even the factory tint in consistent between the rear windows and the rear "sails" behind out rear seat windows.

Went 20% all around except windshield and sun/moonroof.

Not crying one bit.

Excuse the bird shat.

This is often because there’s either a difference in thickness or a difference in manufacturers of those two openings.

It's pretty hard to get a proper match... I too was hoping for better but after a little while you just stop caring lol.

What is more important is just getting quality film, and ill take that over trying to get it to match the rest of the windows.

Yezzur...
I am aware.

Just was pointing out a fact to some who may be unaware.
It can also be from the same manufacturer, but from different batches.

Kind of like automotive paint... Getting the metallic "speckle" consistent from batch to batch is not a guarantee.
Mixing by a huge vat vs gallon to gallon will yield better consistency.

Yeah mine is like that, obviously the darker you go the more it hides the delta. I went 30% on the front to match the shade of the rears but there's still a color tone difference.
