Help me pick out some new wheels

Been wanting to swap out my factory gloss gunmetal TRD wheels, that came on my Venture Edition, for something new. I really like the Summit Dakar’s in matte bronze and the Stealth Custom Series F5 in matte dark bronze. I think both of these will look good on my nautical blue 5th Gen.

Check out my little photoshop renders

I just got my F5s mounted and I can say that I'm extremely happy with how they turned out.

I have the bronze SCS F5s. I love them, but they are super popular.

I also really like the fifteen52 wheels

Can't see the brakes, that's half the wheel beauty IMO.

F5's may not be the best looking to everybody, but they are about the lightest wheels you can get. That's the main benefit. I have Ray10's and I think they look better, but water pools up in the wheel because there is no drain between the wheel and the fake beadlocks. Icon Rebound wheels look pretty good to me, they were just a little more expensive, weighed a little more, and had a zero offset as opposed to -10 on my Ray10's. The SCS Stealth 6 does not have the pooling issue as it does not have the fake beadlocks.

I'm a fan of bronze, and i'm a fan of the classic 5 spoke wheel. Those F5's are similar to my RRW's in bronze. So ya.. i'm biased haha.

Why is everyone that's swapping out their TRD wheels on the other side of the country from me.....?

With the nautical blue, the look of bronze wheels is really sharp IMO. I like the F5s better from those choices, but those Mambas look cool too.

I like both the SCS F5 and the Summit Dakars. The safer bet is probably the F5’s even though they’re really common, they’re considered a classic now. You won’t have a problem offloading them if you get bored.

As for the Dakar’s, it seems as if Summit is aggressively giving them away to any social media influencer with over a thousand followers on Instagram lol. I wonder how that will bode for saturation in the near future. Maybe I’m wrong and they’re just that popular right now.

Steel wheels give an incredible ride. I recently swapped out from steel wheels back to my OEM revolvers and there was a substantial change in ride quality.

I’m going to be getting some new wheels, but I am wondering what people do with the old ones? Can stock 4Runner wheels be sold somewhere? Or are people just leaving them in the garage for years?
