Looking for good wheel and tire cleaner for my TRD black rims

I have a 2020 4runner with 3500 on it, and have had it ceram coated with Feynlab. It has been perfect, but even the Auto spa where I had it done said that these wheels are not typical and they are scratching their heads as to the best way to coat them(clean) without the dusty residue afterwards.
I see that there is a Feynlab wheel and tire cleaner, but wonder if anyone else has had a problem keeping these black beauties clean as well.
Any ideas??

Almost all modern aluminum wheels are painted. So just use auto car wash as you would on the rest of the vehicle.

Any normal wheel cleaner has worked for me. Also, they don’t stay clean.

My 4runner is ceram coated. I dont use regular carwashes. That was the whole reason I started this thread.

I thought the whole purpose of “ceram” is that you just needed to run a hose over it to clean it? Hardly seem like it’s worth it if there are now special cleaning regimens and chemical baths needed to maintain the “ceram.”

OH believe me, IT IS WELL WORTH IT!
No, you don't just hose it off, lol..
But I can clean in 45 mins what used to take me 1.5 hours, In the garage!
WELL WORTH IT.
The wheels are a different story, and 4runners are a problem with Black wheels.
Yes, to an extent, they will stay dirty. There is that.
Sorry, soap and water won't cut it either!

Simple Green is a game changer

I use straight "Simple Green" sprayed from either a spray bottle or 1 gallon pump sprayer. Mine is Ceramic Coated and a lot of it has full clear bra (the entire hood, etc.).

I soak the whole car down with Simple Green then wash it and it comes out like new, wheels, tires, everything. The Simple Green isn't so harsh that it strips off ceramic coating, but it does great on grease and grime. It's also non-toxic.

I've been using it for years.

I bought some of that. Horrible smell. I switched to Meguiars degreaser. You can dilute it to about 50/50. You can buy it in a gallon container on Amazon. You can get the All Wheel Cleaner but it is pretty potent, I would only use if the wheels are really filthy with lots of brake dust.

Is there any cleaner where you don't have to scrub and it will rinse away brake dust with water? Every cleaner I used I still had to scrub otherwise the brake dust will still be there.

Anything like that would be so corrosive it would tear up your wheels. Agitation is the key to cleaning brake dust.

OP: The best wheel cleaner I've found is Adam's. I dilute it for application after buying 1 gallon jugs. As for tires, I've been even more impressed by Meguiar's tire cleaner. Spray it on, let it sit for 30-60 seconds, and scrub with a stiff-bristled brush. It gets even nasty trail dirt off of them. I'm a detailing geek and use the same products on my M3 that produces an obscene amount of brake dust.

That's what I figured too but I thought better to ask in case there was something in the market that I didn't know about.

I always wash my wheels with the same car wash soap that was used to wash the body, either ONR or Duragloss 902, depending how dirty the body is. It has always been a pain to get into the crevices of the TRD Pro wheels even with a microfiber wheel brush.

I use P&S Brake Buster for cleaning my wheels but they aren't black.
