Adding 3 cameras

My head unit allows for up to 4 cameras including the back up. I wired up one on the front bumper, works fine and was easy enough. So I ordered 2 more cameras because I have 2 more plugs to use up so might as well.

Has anyone here hooked up more than a back up camera? Is it safe for all 3 cameras to tap into the same place? Anyone have any wiring tips/suggestions related to this project?

Front camera is for parking and is set in position. The other 2 are undetermined, maybe blind spot cameras, right side cameras for on the trail, maybe put magnets on them to be able to moved them around as needed.

Have you considered under body cameras? The Land Rover Defender cameras are cool.

I am curious what headunit are you looking at? I have been thinking about adding a few cameras to help on the trails..

Underbody might be good, harder to clean though. I am almost a 100% sure I want a left side camera based on the last time I was out on a trail solo.

JVC KW-Z1000W is what I have. I did have the Kenwood equivalent but that was stolen so I went with the JVC version for the second time around. The Kenwood may have been the better option for this. They are essentially the same other than a volume knob and how they do their user interface.

I would love self driving for crossing certain states ;)
