Slight rub on the mudflaps on full reverse, haven't tried it with articulation turning.

UCA Upgrade?

Does this kit require upgrading the UCAs?

I have the kit on order and the local shop who I'm having install is including SPC UCAs in the quote but said they were not sure if it will be needed until alignment.

Looks great! Mine is getting the same installed on Tuesday. Also overthinking tires, but about ready to pull the trigger on the 285/70/17.

I went with the KO2s, they've been outstanding so far, both on and off road.

I'm pretty happy with the choice, the MPGs blow, but the difference off road seems pretty substantial. It just rolls over things this year, that would have taken a lot more throttle or careful tire placement last year.

No, I couldn't tell you what the alignment numbers were, the installer sent me right to a shop that already knows the numbers he wants to see. I can say that there is no rubbing, it's wearing nicely and drives really nice. I had the OEM mudflaps installed until very recently as well, no rubbing there either.

Actually, I did get two suspected instances of rubbing off road, both during tight turns, downhill and with suspension compression. Very brief and quiet, but I'm 95% sure that it was rubbing from the passenger's side front.

I see no reason to replace the UCAs. That's been the best part of this 'kit' so far, replace 4 springs and throw 33's on it, good to go. The whole reason I overpaid for this damn thing was to not have to replace much of anything to do some moderate off roading for at least 5 years. I just REALLLLLY felt like it needed a bit more clearance after a few trips off pavement.

Ordered mine direct from Eibach after reading this thread. Arrived quickly and having install done 4/4. Think I’ll go with 275s soon after. However I’ve done some serious wheeling in rocky east coast mountainous areas and the stock setup always excelled. I’m anxious to see how she’ll do now with a little lift and bigger shoes. Thanks for all the good posts about this topic.

Look at the thread called “Eibach needs a stock pro.” The eibach trd pro spring upgrade is nice. Myself and many others have done it. This is a super small thread regarding fox trd shocks and eibach springs. I have nothing to say about the westcott setup.

I’ll do the heavy lifting.

Looks spectacular... do you have spacers on the wheels? If not, how much rubbing do you get with them?

I ordered the Eibach TRD Pro kit before the truck arrived and after a week of driving the stock TRD pro, I was anxious to get the new springs and tires installed. The ride is practically the same as a stock TRD Pro setup with less nose dive on braking. I have owned an ORP with the 5100s set on their highest settings and hated how stiff it was. Caster sits about 2.3 degrees (.4 degrees below minimum) but will re-align it after a month and after the springs settle in but at this time i have no plans to add upper control arms. I am running Ridge Grappler load range C 285/70r17 on stock TRD pro wheels with no spacers and no rubbing. I did remove the front mudflaps before I added the tires so I have no way of knowing if they would have rubbed. I love the ride and the valving of the FOX suspension is incredible. I cannot comment on the Wescott lift but I do highly recommend the Eibach springs.

This was done over at ChiTown4x4 out in the burbs here in the Chicagoland area. They did a great job, were done in like 90 mins start to finish and even did a quick fender liner mod with a small slice to the underside of the bumper to help clear the eventual 285s I told them were going on, and then charged me less than quoted since it went so fast. I'm used to doing all my own car work, so it was a really nice surprise to get fast service, done well and under budget, that's not what I'm used to when dealing with 'shops'.

Ride is absolutely great, feels a bit flatter when turning and has a bit less nosedive when getting into the brakes kinda hard, not stiff, nor soft, and the stance it has is pretty great, shoulda came from the factory this way, IMO.

Now I can completely overthink tires for the next few days... 285s seem to be the popular choice, but I'm debating if 275s would do everything I need them to do.
looks great with stock size tires. Getting mine installed end of this month. Was alignment able to be within spec with stock wheels and tires?

So I know the Eibach Pro front spring is +1.6 inches. Is the front spring longer AND stiffer than OEM or just longer. Reason I ask is because my ‘19 Pro is heavy on top with RTT and fridge, etc. So the plan is the Eibach Pro front spring with the load leveling springs out back to help with the extra weight. Anyone else go this route? Thanks.

I have this setup. The Pro front springs and the load leveling system in the back. I installed a hidden winch (~80-90 lbs total) and the handling sucked. The pro springs stiffened up the front again, and I still got most of the advertised lift out of it (~1.3 inches I think). I asked Eibach about the spring rate before I bought them - Quote from Eibach: “The amount of lift and rate of spring were designed to be able to add small amounts of added weight to the front or rear!”
Not a super detailed answer, but with this 90 extra pounds it worked out perfectly.

The load leveling system for the rear is awesome, not sure why it’s not a more popular setup! You can dial in the exact amount of lift you want, only takes a floor jack and about 10 min to adjust both sides if you need to. And if later down the line you decide to add some significant permanent weight to the truck, the springs are cheap and come in several different stiffnesses. Comes with rear bump stops too. I’d imagine with a RTT it’d be nice to be able to adjust anytime you take the tent on/off.

Only been about a year with this setup, but no complaints so far.
