Eibach TRD Pro Lift Installed
Finally got my Eibach TRD Pro lift installed today.
This was done over at ChiTown4x4 out in the burbs here in the Chicagoland area. They did a great job, were done in like 90 mins start to finish and even did a quick fender liner mod with a small slice to the underside of the bumper to help clear the eventual 285s I told them were going on, and then charged me less than quoted since it went so fast. I'm used to doing all my own car work, so it was a really nice surprise to get fast service, done well and under budget, that's not what I'm used to when dealing with 'shops'.
Ride is absolutely great, feels a bit flatter when turning and has a bit less nosedive when getting into the brakes kinda hard, not stiff, nor soft, and the stance it has is pretty great, shoulda came from the factory this way, IMO.
Now I can completely overthink tires for the next few days... 285s seem to be the popular choice, but I'm debating if 275s would do everything I need them to do.

I have the same kit sitting in my garage right now just waiting to be installed. Did they do the alignment? Did they have any problems with the alignment. I was wondering how long it would take to install. I probably do it tonight now. I was thinking it would take all day. But after looking at it I kept thinking it shouldn’t be that long.

Height looks perfect, really like this setup. Hoping Eibach will get the springs for the TSB vehicles out sooner than August, but seems like it’s worth the wait. Would love to hear if the springs settle at all over time.

Go 285 SL/P rated tires and don’t look back. The Pro already came with the fender liner cut done at the port. I guess a little more wouldn’t hurt. Although I am running 1.5/1” Cornfed spacers on my Pro, our center of hub to top of arch are probably the same. 22.5” front, 23.25” rear. I did no other mods to my Pro and my 285’s clear and only make a small scuff in max articulation scenarios. Forum member, Dallas Pro has the Eibach Pro spring kit on his Pro with 285’s and it looks perfect.

The shop banged it out amazingly fast, just over an hour of being on the lift.
Alignment was done, but the passenger's side cam bolt was seized up already, which according to the guys at ChiTown4x4 is a painfully common issue with 4Runners, though he was pretty surprised to hear it was already in that state with just over 20k miles on it. Everything is within spec, but the installer said he'd like to see it adjusted just a bit differently once the cam bolt gets sorted out.
Between the install shop and the alignment shop that he sent me to it was just over 3 hours of my time. I just dont have the tools yet to do it myself, every tool I have is meant to work on sports cars, so even things like jacks/stands arent big enough for the 4Runner. Also, I'm at a point in my life where I have more money than time, so for the $400-500 it cost me, and having it done in 3 hours by guys that do this all day, was worth the expense all day.

This also fixed my Fox Clunk so far (YMMV), I had a strong hunch that it would. This morning it was 25 degrees, and the Starbucks parking lot has always been the perfect Fox Clunk generator, dead silent this morning, and dead silent all day after the install. We'll see if it holds. I was really, really close to cancelling my original order and waiting on the TSB/new version of the springs, but they shipped while I was still over thinking it.

I'm sure that's where I'm going to settle, but I'm an engineer who loves to overthink things! Costco webpage with them on sale is open in another tab right now... I was following DallasPro's posts closely as he seemed to be really thoughtful on the approach there.
Guys over at the shop asked me what I planned to run and did the fender liner push out and a bit bigger of a slice on the bumper/liner point while it was up on the lift. He said it should be fine but to keep an eye on the front mudflaps and maybe look at the caster if there's anything touching.
Ah, F-it, I'm clicking order...

Had mine put on my 2020 pro last week, 23.75" in rear and 23" in front on passenger side...driver side has a slight lean about 1/4" lower for a 23.5" rear and 22.75" front. All measured from center of hub cap to fender with a half tank of gas

Below is how your truck will look like with 285/70/17, I was one of the first people to get those springs installed and have been riding on them for awhile now. Just got the 33"s installed today and now onto the next project.....notice how the wheel gap has gotten smaller?

Awesome, looks just about perfect. Tires are all ordered, just waiting for arrival now.
Any rubbing on the mudflaps in front?

This kit is specifically made only for TRD Pros with fox suspension. eibach makes other kits for trd pro's with bilsteins or other trims though as full suspension replacements

I removed the mudflaps. I think I’m running 2.4* caster which is low, but no rubbing anywhere. And it drives great.

Thanks for the reply, Looks Great. It’s funny I have the same RCI Sliders, and skid plates. I went with the aluminum skid plates.
