RokBloks XLs on 2021 Venture

So I did a hunting trip last month out in NW Colorado. I was driving a lot of snow-packed dirt roads, and some that were just wet dirt roads. What I realized, is that the stock mudflaps, and no side steps, that the tires were throwing a lot of small rocks/sand up against the side of the truck, especially towards the back of the passenger door, just in front of the rear wheels. My concern is that over the next several years of ownership, its going to basically get sandblasted.

So, I thought a mudflap with some more coverage would definitely help. I found these RokBloks XLs and thought they would really help. I got them installed this and really think they look pretty good, and look like they are going to help.

Heres some pics, in case anyone is thinking about getting them and was wondering what they'd look like

How compliant are these? I feel like they would just get ripped off if they were stiff.

They are very pliable / flexible, so I dont think they will get ripped off

I think running these is a great idea, especially if they are pliable. I’m also in Colorado, and even though I’m not worried about body dings because I run sliders with a top plate — which basically catches the rocks flung — having mud flaps in the rear is courtesy to other drivers. Lots of windshield damage here due to flung stones and the rear set would help that a lot. When I get off the trail and back onto roads I’m flinging rocks behind me as the vehicle gets up to speed.

I had these on my Tacoma because the 3rd gen’s have extremely rigid OEM flaps. I definitely thought they were well worth the investment for it. If I get them for the 4Runner, it’d be because the stock ones really don’t cover my tires well enough from slinging junk up

These look great. I might have to check them out. I'm constantly scraping my rear mudflaps when out wheeling.
