Just now seeing this...
Yes, they are heated mirrors, and actually get warmer faster than my factory ones did.

Two years late, but …
When I bought my ‘18 SR5, the first thing I bought were Toyota all weather mats front and rear, a cargo privacy cover and the cargo net for the rear opening.
Two months later, I sliced a sidewall on the OEM tire, so the following day spooned on a set of E rated, stock size BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires. To date, that’s all I’ve done.
I have been eyeballing a driver side A pillar grab handle to help haul my old, arthritic and fat butt into the driver seat. I like the idea of the 3rd row seat delete, but am not handy with building a deck to cover the bare metal, nor what to do with the seats. And that’s about all for my plans for my rig.

"Must do" is different for different people. So is "easy".
-Driver side A-pillar handle.
-Window vent/shades (ventilation)
-Windshield sun blocker shade (preserve dash)
-Seat covers.
-Floor liners.

Here is something to get you started. 25 accessories for the 4Runner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bE2CGxzOjFk&feature=youtu.be
Personally the first thing I would get is a protective floor mat. The stock is ok but the Weathertech is superior and made in the USA but it is also the most expensive. However there are other cheaper brands that are also good.

Sprint Booster. Makes the driving experience so much better.

Does anyone have a link for a black overlay to cover the stupid woodgrain trim above the glove box?

Just buy some black vinyl wrap, put it on and trim with a razor. That would be the easiest way. I’m sure you can buy a replacement piece but I don’t know off hand where to buy one.

No idea now honestly. I'd just search on amazon if this link isn't working anymore.
