22" Wheel Question

So I found a picture of a 4Runner that has the wheels I am wanting to purchase (Black Rhino - Peak). Only difference is the picture I found is a 4Runner with this wheel in a 22". Of course, I love the look of the 22" wheels on the 4Runner and am wanting to get this setup on my '14 Magnetic Grey 4R. I know the tires are Nitto but can anyone guesstimate what size tires are on this, and does it have a lift? I read somewhere that the 4R couldn't run 22's without a 3" lift. If anyone can help, please let me know!

Pretty sure you can put up to 30” wheels on before your going to need a lift...

I believe the Peak that fits is a 9.5-inch wheel, so the Nitto sizes that appear to fit based on manufacturer's specs are....

275/45 @ 31.73" tall
285/45 @ 32.09" tall
305/45 @ 32.60" tall

305/40 requires 10" wheel, and it is 31.57" tall

Don't think you'll get too much help on this forum. Most are here to discuss wheeling and wheeling appropriate mods. Don't think 22s fall in that category.

And by the way, yes you can run 22s without a lift. Just gotta get low enough profile tires so that you stay around 31" to 32" tall.

OP, check out this thread: 22 inch wheels on 2010

That guy seems to be able to run them just fine w/o any modifications...might want to check out his specs.

I am currently running 22in wheels on my 4Runner with Nittos. I ran them for about six month before putting 2.5 in lift on front. leveled it out. I haven’t had any problems. It rubs a little in reverse.

285/40R22

You’re welcome 22" Wheel Question

Saw a similar answer prior but Nitto also makes a TERRA GRAPPLER in a 40 (vs a 45)

31 x 11.2 R 22 … little smaller in case you need the extra clearance.
