Shop confirmed everything should be here monday!

We had to wait for a pulley to show up at procharger, but the shop just called and said it's all on its way ! I'll drop it off on the 28th and as long as the universe decides to love me, I'll drive it home the 30th.

A few baseline figures before we go under the knife

I've been watching torque for the past few weeks and trying to get a rough idea of some baseline numbers before the procharger gets installed. This is obviously back of the napkin stuff, might not even be useful in the end, but here it is.

MPG: 17.3 over a month of mixed driving
AFR (obdii based): usually around 14.3 with dips to 11.5
Temps: coolant sits right at 185F, Trans pan gets as high as 160F, converter as high as 182F
0-60mph: 8.5ish seconds on a slightly downhill onramp

How it's coming

They are almost done with the install and then it needs to be tuned. The intercooler is too big to have my behind the grill light mounted at the same time so that had to go, but otherwise everything seems to be fitting just swell. That supercharger is actually as big as it looks in the picture, it's pretty wild.

Oh yeah, that D-1SC is huge so it goes where the battery went and then the battery goes to the back where folks run the second battery.

Are we seeing owners hold off on installs until warranties are expired, or just going right for it upon purchase of the vehicle?

Shame they are no longer dealer sold/installed, would they be covered then?

Not sure about other folks, but I'm at 15k miles on my 19 and did my suspension swap before I did my first oil change.

Just got it back home

Just got it back home, working on some videos for ya'll but here is one at least with a startup and idle.

A few first thoughts.

It sounds amazing. I got the helical cut gears so no marble sounds, just whine.

The Dyno was busted, so I don't have any numbers unless you want to believe that a stock 4runner produces 518ft/lbs of torque at 1200 RPM.

The overall feel is surprisingly smooth. There is no sudden boost of power like a turbo, it just seems to come on nice and even. About 3k though you can get things to hussle.

The transmission on the drive home didn't hunt for gears at all. It sat itself in 4th or 5th and just stayed there which was kinda nice.

I picked it up and had to go straight to work, so limited experience so far but more to come!
