I know plenty of people have them, I know they are the "thing" to have. I know it will never happen to anyone on this forum....
You ever get in an accident.....you're gonna get tagged for obstructed view.
No I'm not a lawyer, No I'm not a State Cop, No I'm not a Sheriff's deputy....but, I do know a few. YMMV, of course.

Sorry, but I don't think so...
There are lots of vehicles on the road that do not even have visibility out the back by design. Cargo Vans, Uhaul Trucks, Sprinter vans, Long Haul trucks, etc... this is what your side mirrors are for.
Here's California's take:
"Under the California Vehicle Code, every vehicle registered in the state (except for motorcycles) is required to have at least two rearview mirrors. One of these mirrors must be on the vehicle’s left-hand side (driver’s side). The other mirror can be located anywhere so long as the driver has a clear view of the highway at least 200 feet behind their vehicle in both mirrors.
Vehicles that are registered out-of-state and motorcycles must have at least one rearview mirror that allows the driver to see 200 feet behind them on the roadway."
I know we are not talking about mirrors, but rather 'obstructed view', and my argument here is you are not required to be able to see out of the back of your vehicle, that is what the side mirrors are for. And your backup camera when going in reverse...

Just pulled the trigger on the Victory ones today... their cargo basket / shelf seemed like the most robust to me. I really liked the extra molle on the CaliRaised and how flush they sit against the window (this might be problematic when adding items to the MOLLE) but their shelf wasn't wide enough and looked a little wonky compared to Victory's offering...

I like the idea of these but man are they proud of them! I might have to look into some DIY options. I wish I had had these on my Xterra, I had some cargo shift while on a rough trail and BAM! something in the back took out my back window. The replacement window was still cheaper than these panels though

Does anyone know if the shelves for each company would work with each other? I like the Finn Fab,victory, and Caliraised, but like the rago shelf.

Cali Raised was the only company I found that offered molle panels for 3rd row seat options.

Bought a rack from these guys and it's pretty nice. Considering their panels.

What makes these special for third row applications? My Rago panels fit fine with my third row seats

Bought the Rago Molle panels and shelf. Great to have when you have kids.
Was easy enough to install but the one thing that caught my attention that majority of the screws were not long enough to reach the nylon of the lock nuts. So I ended up purchasing longer screws.

Not sure when I originally called Rago they said it wouldn’t work with the third row so I looked elsewhere.

I didn't have the money at the time Rago had single panels for sale last month, now you have to order the complete set which is a deal breaker for me.

Hey sorry for the late response, if there is anything we can help with shoot us a email at [email protected]. There are times where we have single passenger panels available if you are still looking.

About that shelf...
Are any of these shelves quick/easy to remove if you need to? Say if I needed to use the 3rd row seating or wanted to put the dog in the back, or whatever reason?
