I have the Exped MegaMat Duo (2 person model) and it's by far the most comfortable air mattress I've ever slept on. It does not loose air overnight, and usually don't have to add any over the course of a few nights of use.

You don't end up squished together in the middle with your sleeping partner like a typical air mattress, and you also don't cause the other person to move when getting in/out of bed.

The R value is one of the highest for an air mattress, so you'll say warmer when sleeping on the ground.

It's expensive, but I've had 2 friends go buy one after borrowing ours. Sorry for the threadjack, just had to throw my .02 in for the exped!

I have a question regarding the rear window molle panels. They seem like a great solution to organizing things in the back of the truck, but I'm concerned about the airbags. I assume there are curtain airbags in the rear, and it seems like they would break it apart in an accident, turning them into a claymore. Am I just overly worried, or is that a real possibility?

From what I understand the third row has curtain airbags back there but the 2 row does not

Good points, if I had a 3rd row and kids even occasionally sat back there no way I'd install the molle panels. Even in a small fender bender a kid could jolt to the side and hit their head/ face on the metal panels.
I wouldn't want them anyways due to the decreased rear and blind-spot visibility, but that's me.

Attached MOLLE panel clips or straps for RAGO shelves, etc?

Hello all. I have a set of RAGO MOLLE panels and the shelf system in my 4runner. I love the setup and it works great. I'm looking for some kind of strap or clip product that I can use to attach bags, gear etc?

What I'm after is something that will stay connected to the panel when I detach the gear.

The Quickfist is the right idea, but it's only good for things like hatchets, flaslights, etc. Original QUICK FIST clamp - Item #10010

Regular MOLLE straps are okay, but they detach from the panel when you remove the bag: Amazon.com

I want to be able to detach a bag from the panel to use it but have the mounting device STAY ON THE PANEL.

Any suggestions? FYI, velcro works for a few months, and then doesn't work, especially with heavier bags like recovery gear, etc.

Thanks

I zip tie my molle bags and use magnetic velcro thingamabobs for my compressor hoses:

You could potentially use the quick fists, but we used to take D-rings and clip them to the shelf and then clip on the grocery bags. Maybe see if you can find some straps with D-rings on both ends! Hope this helps guys.

Oh yeah, D ring molle adapters, you just have to use a carabiner with it.

I have Victory side panels and the shelf. It sits up high enough I've never had any vision out the back issues. I keep stuff tied to the panels with little bungies, and bought some magnetic floods from Tractor Supply that are solid as a rock. Very happy with it.
