There are 2 issues the dealer wouldn't fix, both are key related. 1) Driver's door lock does not operate with key, but it unlocks electronically. Diagnosed as a bad power lock actuator. 2) the rear door doesn't lock or unlock by key either.
The key fob, and one valet key both operate ignition. Related? or coincidence?

Might be a quick fix, if the actuator was replaced (it's working, as you say), and they didn't connect the door lock (I did that once) (note the torx unscrews all the way, and then the key assembly will come out, you can thread it back in correctly).

ok - so I answered my own question - there is a 20mm or so blanking grommet on the door jamb - I took this off loosened the torx screw behind it & this let the lock barrel come out - I could then thread the shaft back into the actuator - took 3 minutes - hope this saves someone time in the future if their keyed entry doesn't work after an actuator change! Feel a bit stupid but then doing your own car repairs is always a humbling experience at times.........
Hope the OP doesn't mind me offering this info on his post to help...
