We have 2 pickups, a utility trailer and a horse trailer.
4runner hauls groceries or small loads of building materials or feed.
My pickup is a 68 F100 with a shell on it, so somewhat limited.
Wife drives 07 Ram 2500 made for hauling (horribly stiff ride when empty).
Utility trailer is for runs to the dump. Much less expensive than garbage service.

I never took a photo, but I had bought 30 bags of gravel (each bag was 55 pounds), and I made 2 trips to the reno store that day and brought home 15 bags at a time.

LOL Thats why I park in the boonies at HD. Always take two spaces because other peeps don't know how to park.
My first 4Runner came out to the parking lot one day and one of my white mirrors had a red stripe on them. Dam peeps.
So yeah I take two spaces now but I always park way out where there are plenty of spaces so as not to irritate anyone.

Bringing home a new Rhino gun safe.
Picking up a ton of heating pellets. The ugly trailer is a faithful old U-Haul that my late father picked up at an auction nearly four decades ago.
A dump run.
Bringing home a mini-shed from a Lowe’s 120 miles away (photo taken at the store).

have a picture some where but I 'm too lazy.
I take products under test up to ~120 pounds for work in the back of my 4Runner, the sliding rear shelf matches up pretty good with a Rubbermaid plastic cart. Plastic so it doesn't scratch the paint. I suppose a Highlander or RAV4 could take its place, but dang is that convenient. Just like any sort of truck, you need to push the load as far up as you can go, in case you have to slam on the brakes, and then don't gun it so it doesn't slide back. Could use the tie downs too, but I'm too lazy. The place we go is $1500/day, effing around is not in my book.

No pics but hauled a pretty heavy 87" tall metal hardware / small-parts cabinet home last night. Guy I bought from asked how I was going to get it home - said "we are going to stuff it into that 4-Runner". He was impressed when it actually worked.

Mine is only 6-7 months old and it’s getting used and abused.
Yesterday had a few arbor vitae’s in it. Did a small bathroom remodel so put a door, cement board and full sheets of drywall in it in the Winter(was so cold).
Towed a mower and snowblower before the winter while the back was completely full.
It’s time for a full detail lol.

Picked up some lumber. 16-footers and some shorter pieces.
