TRD Pro JBL Audio Settings

Hey everyone! I posted this questions in the audio foru but it is a bit quite over there.

So I recently got a 2021 TRD Pro with the new infotainment head unit. It’s so much better than the one that was in my 2019 TRD ORP. I know audio is subjective but I’d love to know, what is everyone’s audio settings for treble, mids and bass with the stock head unit. I can’t seem to find the sweet spot yet.

Really depends on the source...but the jbl system is not really that great.

Fwiw...the harman kardon in my Merc was pretty good....
BUT, the stock system in my old acura tl S-type was awesome...had a factory sub that you could control independently .

Here are my current settings...listen to alot of audio books.

I don’t have any complaints about the JBL. I boost the bass and treble a bit and leave the mids in the middle. Sounds good to me.

Yeah, I don’t mind the JBL system at all. Especially since I came from the 2019 non-JBL. This sounds great lol. I’m just trying to see how everyone is setting it up so that I can have a baseline and fine tune. I do notice that I have to turn up the volume above 30 or so for it to sound good.

I ordered the OEM Audio+ JBL Enhancement, and am in the May batch, for my '21 Limited.

I was immensely disappointed in the stock JBL system compared to the sony system in my 2012 F150.

You may one to consider a screen protector too.....i had read reports about it being really easy to scratch and thought it was just people being rough or cleaning with paper towels. I am real particular about clearing only with damp microfibers and still started seeing fine scratches. Anyways, this protector i got from amazon has been great, fit perfect, went on easy and no bubbles...and it covers up the fine scratches. you wouldnt know it was there unless i pointed it out.

What specifically don’t you like about it?

After fiddling with the settings for like 30 minutes, this is what I came up with. I played everything from hip-hop, to EDM, too heavy metal and everything in between. I think it sounds pretty good now. I’m still back and forth with the bass and mids but it so much better than where it was. I hope this helps someone out there. Also, if any ones got suggestions, by all means, let me know.

Thank you for this! How’s the feel when using the touch screen? Is it smooth? How’s the fit, it is perfect or are there spots on the screen that aren’t covered?

smoother than a babys butt. seriously..
Yes it is very smooth, it is high gloss, not matte finish but I have not noticed any unacceptable glare. does not impede touch sensitivity. Fit is perfect and covers entire screen.

Same. It sounds pretty good. It won't win any awards ... But not too shabby.
