2021 Limited Nightshade: Looking to do a leveling kit and some larger tires
Evening,
Picked up a new 2021 Limited Nightshade to replace my old 2018 Wrangler after a garage fire and i'm digging the truck so far. I wanted to get something and own long term so Toyota reliability won me over.
This is my daily driver, as I have other off road toys to play with so I don't want to go crazy on this thing. I'm thinking a leveling kit and a more aggressive / larger tire I can fit on the stock wheels. These changes are purely for looks, as this will see on road use 95% of the time.
I have done search after search but no real direct answers so I figured I would just start a post and get yelled at if be.
Thoughts ?

1" Cornfed front spacer, and some 275/55r20 AT tires, and maybe some wheel spacers.

How do these Cornfed spacers ride ? One thing I really love about my 4Runner is how smooth the ride is, and have not the greatest luck with spacers in the past...

Spacers do not change the ride.
Since you came from a Wrangler, you know what a brutal ride it can have. I also had a Wrangler, and one of the best things about the 4Runner is the improved ride.

Spacer and AT tires are a good idea. I went with the Rough Country leveling kit (spacers) and BFG KO2 tires.
Rather and 20" tires, I'd get new 17" wheels and tires that are on the SR5, Off Road, and Pro. Those low profile 20" tires on the Limited are just not suited for serious off roading.

This is my daily driver, so most likely it will spend 95% of its life on pavement.
Thinking a 2" front / 1" spacer lift and some 275/60r/20 tires and I will be good. I know most go with a 275/55r/20 but i figure i could fill in the space better with a 275/60r/20 if I am doing the spacer lift front and rear.
And, if I ever do feel the need to go off roading I have this in the garage...

The car looks great the way it looks now! I probably would just swap to some more beefy/off road tires like grapplers or etc.

Thanks for the kind words.
It is literally stock minus that I tinted the windows (even the front windshield).
As far as tires go I am either going with Terra Grapplers or the BFG All Terrain T/A KO2's. I think those along with a 2'/1" leveling kit will give it the perfect stance.

Stock nightshade looks badass.
I would definitely do the grapplers. K02 is junk. I had them on a 2019 jeep rubicon. Rode like shit. Lol

My old 2018 Wrangler had 35" Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's on it.
THOSE rode like shit (but looked badass).
Definitely want something that looks abit aggressive but offers a smooth on road ride as this truck is 98% going to be street driven...

I really like Toyo tires, look good, soft riding and they last.
Toyo makes the Terra Grapplers as their lower end offering.

Nitto makes the Terra Grappler tire, and from what I can see no longer offers it in the 20" diameter I need for my 2021 Limited.
Looking at the Ridge Grappler as it seems like the best of on and off road in the size I need..
