I have been looking for a 2017-2019 GX for a loooong time but the inventory right now is super super low. While I still have not found a GX, I did find a CPO 2020 Limited with 76 miles, yes 76 miles. Basically brand new. It's listed for $43k but I think I might be able to negotiate it to $41-42k. Has anyone done CPO new car rate financing with ToyotaFinancial? Are the rates really the new car rates? I realize there is probably not a lot of difference between a 2015 and a 2020, other than TSSP and carplay. Does anyone have experience with TSSP on long commutes? Is it really that helpful? I can basically get the 2020 for the same payment as my 2015 but I don't know if the updates in the 2020 are worth it. Sidenote, anyone with the black leather, how does it wear? I have sand beige leather right now and it is wears ok, about average.

Hey man I came from a 2018 Limited to a 2021 Limited Nightshade. The biggest differences: TSSP, CarPlay, LED headlights, and they did also improve the stereo. I drove the older limited across the country from Hayward, WI to SLC, UT three times last year. Ive only taken the new 2021 on a 5 hour road trip. I personally felt TSSP was pretty helpful for that drive. On two lane highways, adjusting your speed happens pretty often and I really came to appreciate TSSP/Radar cruise control adjusting my speed for me. I want to emphasize that this isnt a huge deal, but its a nice creature comfort that really adds up over the time/distance. The headlight upgrade was also HUGE. They are much brighter. CarPlay was a welcome addition, and also most helpful for the longer trips.
I also came from the redwood leather interior to this black nightshade interior and Ive only had it for 3 months. In that time, Ive not been given any indication that the leather will wear any differently. I condition + clean the leather 2 +3 times a year or so. I upgraded because my lease was up, and I have no regrets since I’m paying the same as I was previously, plus I get the newer features. If i were you, I’d probably consider holding off until the 4runner gets a refresh as you seem pretty happy with your current limited. All the same, I hope this helps, and happy hunting!
