You are not alone. Many accounts of the Wildpeak shake and shimmy.

Man i went through the same thing the tire store actually got me a second set and still couldn't get it to stop shaking between 55-65 finally went with GY Duratrac and will never buy Wildpeak for the 4RNR

Im running falkens on my 2020 trdorp and have had zero issues. Sounds like your discount tires doesn’t know what they are doing. What size tire and what type of wheel are you running?

A6, they balanced fine even took it to a well respected independent tire shop all with the same results. Factory trd off road wheels stock tire size.

Hmmm.. im running them on the trd pro wheels no issues. The only slightly annoying thing for me is trying to find the correct PSI for daily driving. I would call Falken directly. Maybe the can set you up with a new set?

Best all around tire I have ever driven! 7k miles
Shimmy has happened to every off-road based tire manufacturer the 4Runner tends to be more sensitive
increases in tire pressures cured mine and rotate 3x a year
Search shimmy and you will hit everyone
But tire shimmy is storyline

i did a lot of research on tires before I bought. Pretty much every make-specific forum has people complaining about Falkens being hard to balance and wearing unevenly.

FWIW, I went with General Grabber ATX, mostly due to the snowflake rating and white letters. they've been great for 5k so far. they suck on ice or on wet slush, but on dry or fresh snow, dirt, and mud, they're great.

Work for the nations largest tire retailer and we have replaced multiple sets of at3w's for out for round/ride complaints all on toyota vehicles for whatever reason they don't mesh with yotas.

The problem is obviously that OP bought knockoff Fallen tires instead of Falkens

I had the same issue with my Falkens until I had the stealership rebalance them...been perfect ever since. May want to go that route to see if this resolves your shimmy and shakes.

I have stock size SL load AT3W’s on TRD Pro Wheels. Made in USA.

On cold mornings I occasionally get a little shake at 55-65mph when first driven, my thinking is the tires develop a flat spot from sitting overnight and once warmed up the shake disappears.

These tires seems very sensitive to tire pressure. I’ve settled on 32psi all around as the most comfortable.

Been very happy with the tires overall through 5k miles.
