I would love to hear some long-term reports.
I am also a bit confused on materials. Most seem to like the leather inserts, but I am confused on the “higher grade” vinyl (nearly same price as leather) vs “lower grade” PVC (less costly) options when I read old posts.

I had Clazzio seat covers on my '13 FJ Cruiser. They were very nice, especially for the price. They were the standard black leather (perforated leather on the center seating section, vinyl on the side bolsters and headrests). Most people thought they were OEM leather. I ordered them through Sparks Toyota.
As for long term performance, they held up nicely. They were on for about 5 years before I traded it in for my 4Runner. Never had any tears or rips, or separated seams. I did replace the driver seat bottom section though after 3 years as the perforated holes were showing a little wear. Not bad wear really, just enough to cause my OCD to replace it. Which brings up another nice thing about Clazzio seat covers, you can order and replace individual sections. The driver side lower part was only $50 IIRC.
