Depends on your use case -- whether you need that extra clearance at the body. Lift will provide better approach, departure and breakover angles, as well add added clearance for skids, which means you may hit or scrape less. If you scrape a lot today or expect to in the future or you just want to reduce the chance of that, go with the lift. It will add capability and may make a difference in clearing an obstacle or not (or how much scraping you're willing to do).
I don't think 1.5 inches of lift has enough CG impact to really worry about that. It also doesn't severely impact lifespan of other parts, such as CVs and u-joints as opposed to a 3+ inch lift.
That, and it looks good, subjectively.
