T4R Trail question
Happy Friday to all!
I am looking for a picture or two of the area in the attached pics. I purchased the door extensions to replace my limited ones with trail ones but I assumed they would not be open like my Limited versions. Is it really open on the bottom? I have the 2014 rocker trim with sliders.
Its a nice day can anyone take a few pics?
Thanks

Funny!
When you remove the limited rockers, you are left with a flare that is open on the bottom and I believe is causing a bit of wind noise that I am tracking down.
Here are some pics of my limited ones.
In looking closer at the new ones and the rocker while taking these two pics, it looks like the new on might be narrow enough to meet the trail rocker piece.
I would still appreciate a pic of a "factory one".
thanks,

I don't know exactly what you're looking for but this is how my 10 Trail looked in that area. It looks like there is another piece below the flare that I don't see on yours.

And your limited flare is shaped different at the bottom.

The limited one (white) that is on there is open alot at the bottom as its much larger than the trail one at the bottom.
In this picture, you can see that piece of the rocker that you mentioned you didnt see on mine. I think it is just covered and "hidden" by the mouth of the Limited trim.
The trail trim I have in the plastic is much narrower and I believe will mate to that rocker end piece.
I didnt want to open the new pieces if they were the same just open less than mine now.
thank you to all who commented.
