Sway Bar End Link

Hi,

I am seeing tons of aftermarket REAR sway bar end links. Not so much for the front sway bar. Are any of you running aftermarket end links? if so, what kind? I called my dealer to order as I saw them for 75 dollar each online, stealer quoted me 135 each!! I need to replace as I pinched a boot when installing me new suspension....thanks in advance.

Not sure if you're talking about the fancy aftermarket upgraded links, or just general replacements for worn-out OEM ones.

I'm just using some RockAuto $20 end links for the front. My old ones were totally clapped out and when I removed them (which required an oxy torch and the trusy heat-n-beat method) the boots were full of water and rust-colored grease.

The cheap replacements seem to be working fine, but they're only 6 months old and already covered in rust. I'll probably upgrade to some better ones with built-in grease zerks soon.

For the price the dealer quoted, I thought id look into some cool aftermarket ones. I did buy some cheapies as well, ill run them for now. Thanks for the info.

I have rear Dobinsons extended end links. They are high quality, rebuildable, and adjustable depending on how much lift you have in the rear. No way was I going to buy OEM links after finding these. 40k on my T4R with a 3.5" rear lift, no issues.

There are a few company's selling extended aftermarket links, and I'm one of them. Here's my site, and you have a couple options to choose from.

You'll notice that my links are not welded together like others. My heim joint links will require maintenance to keep them clean, and you'll need to use a PTFE dry lube on them after cleaning. I also offer a forged ball end link that is maintenance free with an OEM fit. The ball joint links are my own design, and are overbuilt to last. Both options for the rear are an inch longer out of the box, and extendable beyond that if need.

I have front end links from Overland Custom Design, quite happy. I wanted something a bit more heavy-duty after putting on my lift, mainly because it would be one less thing to worry about when on the trails.

Can't help with the front but the rear can be done nice and cheap. OEM rear 3rd gen links are a direct swap and they're longer. I run them under the back of mine with my 2" lift.

3rd Gen fronts are even longer if needed.
