Rear bumper options

I’ve searched threads for over an hour, so figured it’s time to post. I need to find a rear bumper and tire carrier. The Victory 4x4 bumper looks good, but what other options are there? If there’s a good bumper forum I’m missing, happy to delete my post!

Any of the "big guys" have them, C4, RCI, SSOR, you can DIY with Coastal Off Road... I am sure I am missing a bunch...

this one though looks very awesome... Its not huge and overly bulky. I also like the position and angle of the tire carrier.. anyhow I am waiting to see more photos installed before I pull the trigger

Thanks for sharing. I like that one for a minimalist look, but the tow hitch receiver looks funky to me. I will check out the others mentioned.

I agree. The Coastal kit is really nice too. But it’s DIY. It is one of the few that is rated to tow.

Here's a good place to start. It's not an updated or all-inclusive list but it's food for thought.

I had the victory one put on basically as soon as it came out. Drove all the way up to their shop and had them bolt it on even. So far, I love it. I needed to upgrade my rear springs to the Icon Overland ones because the bumper + 33 inch rear tire + dual swingouts is about all the factory springs can handle. I've had no rust issues outside of some surface rust around the hitch receiver (I swear those things come pre-rusted), no squeaks and no issues with the locking mechanism.

A few problems I did have:
The bolt to hold on the camera/license plate relo kit wasn't stainless. I figured that out after a midwest winter when I went to rotate the tire and had to grind off the wing nut.
Be sure you are positive on your rear light selection, once the bumper is in I don't see a real easy way to get them out.
Remember, 33 inch tires are heavy. Having them a few feet off the ground means you are going to have to armstrong that thing on and off when you need it.

That's really about it. It's been a solid upgrade and I have no regrets.

Did you ever consider reading the Consolidated rear bumper thread in the Modification sticky above near the top?

I looked through the consolidated threads and did not see that one. I also searched all threads using the search field for about an hour and on more than one occasion.. then finally posted this because I couldn’t find what I needed.

Do you have link you can share for the consolidated rear bumper thread? I’m probably just passing over it like an idiot.... but I did try to find it there, but just saw front bumper stuff.
