ISO: Of Mud Guards

Good Morning Guys,

I am in need of a mud guard set for a 2015 Trail. If you can recommend a set (can be after market or OEM) that you know for a fact to fit I'd appreciate the being steered in the right direction.

I've ordered a set from Toyota that was "supposed" to fit, but they didn't.

Cheers,
G

I didn't think mud flaps could be so expensive. When I had my Subie, Rally armor was pretty big.. I bought the cheaper version "basic" and it was hard plastic that survived pretty good but cheap.. Felt like those cheap Ikea cutting boards..

Lots of people ended up doing just that. Buying Ikea cutting boards and making their own mud flaps. Currently teal & Gray in color.. you could just buy 4 sets at $1.50/each and hardware to mount them.

Rally armor UR (the flexible and more durable ones) are a whopping $265 for 4Runners.

Yeah, these aftermarkets are WAY more expensive than factory replacements. The issue is the variance with these darn things. My sis works for Toyota Parts and assisted me with ordering the factory set (that didn't fit). Hence, my request for a set where the owner has their own empirical evidence for fitment.

I have a 15 trail edition. These fit very close to the oem ones. I have them on my 4R to replace OEM ones I've damaged.

I’ve got the RokBloks XLs and I’m happy with them so far. They keep a lot of rock and sand from spraying up the sides of my truck while driving dirt roads. My ride is a 2021 Venture

I also have a set of Rokblokz. They are still pretty expensive for what you get. They do offer a lot more coverage than the OEM tho - even in the standard width.
