An elaborate conclusion statement only to say that it's a vehicle made with mass appeal to cater to multiple uses, including projecting an image, offroading and just as a regular car.
I think that's obvious. Few mass-produced vehicles in this category are precise specialists. Most are generalists with increased capabilities in very specific areas while trying to keep everything else in balance as well.

The second reviewer is like Terrence McKenna reviewing a car.

That's one of the more infantile irritating YouTube car videos I have ever seen. Toyota PR people are probably wondering why they let this guy have a car.

I thought it was great and took it as a half-joking self indulgant and largely self examinatory existentialist diatribe, which I cant fault to be honest. It was really refreshing and not what I expected. But I can see it cutting a little close to the bone for some people, and the deadpan humor going over some heads.

It was cutesy but not interesting enough to complete watching. I moved on to some other YouTube video about 40% of the way through. I'd give it C- / D+ both for information content as well as actual humor, so a disappointment to both crowds.

I watched it and felt it was spot on. To bad he didn't make fun of the ricer raptor lights, ladders to nowhere, RTT brahs and hood mounted traction boards. I'm sure someone was screaming at the screen about him not using mall control in the snow.

This one was pretty great! The FF7 references really resonated with me.

I couldn't have said it any better. The 5th gen 4runner is a pretty terrible car for what most people need out of it. Even for the folks on this forum if they were being realistic.

I made it about 2 1/2 minutes, before I realized I had better things to do with my time... Like watch the grass grow.
