Fender Apron Seal Reccomendations

Mine are shot and I'm looking for a good replacement. Could go OEM, but thought I'd ask if anyone else has had good aftermarket luck. Found these, anybody use?

Here's two write ups. There are some others if you search:

rad rubber design replacement engine splash guards

4Runner Engine Splash Guard Replacement, 4Runner Engine Guards

I've run them for about 3 years. Solid product. Good upgrade from OEM. I would definitely recommend

I have Rad Rubber, but have yet to install them. Great quality product though, and appears to be better than OEM.

Rad Rubber is the way to go. I have them on my 2015 after the OEM stuff tore up. The quality difference is huge, and the protection is definitely worth it.

I also have the Rad Rubber and have had them installed for over a year. These are much better and heavier than OEM and hold up very well. I think these are for sure the best option available currently.

4Runner – Rad Rubber Design – FJ Fender Flaps, Toyota Engine Splash Guards

You can make them yourself, if you'd like.

Attached is a template. You will have to print each splash guard on two pages and splice them together to get a full size splash guard.

I purchased the rubber sheet for about $12 on Grainger Industrial Supply - MRO Products, Equipment and Tools

Now that is pretty cool! What prompted you to go this route? You must work in fabrication of some sort?

There was some talk about this same subject years ago and one of the members provided the template. I couldn't find that original thread but I saved the template so I figured I'd share.

I chose this route because It's easy enough to make and it's good to have the template for later use.
