I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 4Runner on 20s with a 6” lift. Pics pls?

Are the stock lines stretched thin right now? If you still have some wiggle and if you aren't going to offroad it then extended brake lines are not necessary. It's only needed when you flexing the suspension. If I ran LT suspension I'd get the MetalTech SS brake lines for sure.

I have wiggle room but my stock lines is rubbing against something and it’s starting to wear down. I just noticed it when I was coating suspension w fluid film. Need to replace ASAP since my wife uses it to shuttle 3 kids. I’d rather replace w stock or whatever the consensus is

4th gen owner here, but I got the metaltech lines w/ less of a lift - my feeling is ~$65 is cheaper than a broken line someplace remote.

Appreciate the feedback. Yes, that would def make my wife sell my 4runner if she got stranded

There's nothing LT about that, it's just lifted to the point that the stock lines are exceeding their design, no doubt with a bracket lift of some sort.

Is there any harm in using brake lines that are slightly longer than intended? For example, using brake lines that are intended for 2” of lift but having no lift (pre-planning for lift) OR using brake lines intended for 3”-4” of lift but only having 1.5”-2” of lift.

I have a set from YotaMafia installed on mine now. I got them to use with my Long Travel Dobinsons MRA suspension. Operationally, can tell a difference, but it's a piece of mind. Is your lift a Suspension lift, body lift, or a combination of the two?
