Pro Lift - Westcott Front & Eibach Rear?

I have a 2021 TRD Pro and I知 looking for a lift kit that utilizes the factory Fox shocks.

The Westcott Designs kit is really appealing but I noticed they sell the front components individually. This got me wondering, are people pairing the front collar with a different spring in the rear?

I was thinking I might be able to pair the front Westcott collar with the rear Eibach springs since the rears are supposedly unchanged for the 2021.

I would be interested in getting the Eibach springs all the way around but my understanding is that they won稚 be out until August/September and I have an off-road trip through Colorado and Utah planned for early August, so I値l have to find something different.

Btw, I知 also trying to decide between 285/70/17 or 255/80/17 on the factory wheels. Feel free to throw your two cents in on this as well.

I don't see why you couldn't pair the two. I have the Eibach springs and am very happy with them. Way easier to install. I am a fan of the Westcott stuff, but chose the easier path and my installer was happy I did. I will always believe a spring replacement is better than a spacer or a collar.

I also have 285's and love the look. I wouldn't want a skinnier stance although it would be better for mileage I bet, but it would be marginal at best.

Do you think Westcott front and Eibach rear will be even front to back?

That is exactly my setup... was planning on going full Eibach, but didnt want to wait till September. Worth mentioning, I only used the lower Westcott perch as I felt it would give me the ride height I wanted. Rear is a littlw lower due to weight.. ski gear up top and two bikes plus rack on the back.
My tires are 285/65/18 and fit stock, but also different offset wheels.
No complaints what so ever.

Wow, great looking rig! So if you out the top plate in, how would it sit?

You can run the 285s with the pro ins stock trim...thats what I did. Slight rubs fixed with a heat gun. I am waiting on the eibach springs too and this worked for me. Its fine until they get in. Off road only minor rub on steep downhill left turns. Minor enough that I have not bothered to address.

So even in full articulation, no real rubbing issues?

Have any pics you could share of your setup?

Have not done a full articulation test. But after install of 285s I did spend a week in New Mexico mountains on some pretty rough terrain...from NM CO border to roswell.
Did not have any issues. But since you asked I just took a look at my truck and took some pics for you. Keep in mind that I have the 285 70 duratacs which measure a full 33 od according to manufacturer. From what I can see it looks like the heat gun mod may have bounced back a bit. I drive pretty aggressive and don't slow down much for driveway transitons, speed bumps etc. As far as pushing wheel travel I have definitely pushed it...the kids like hitting transitions fast. Anyways, it looks like the rear of each well, the liner has sprung back a bit, maybe I did not get hot enough. You can see the obvious clean spots.. mine is a 20 model with the TSB fronts,, so the same as a 21. There is no rub on the front of wheel well. Hope this helps.

Front would be ~1" higher. I am quite happy with how everything sits and rides as is.

Would this Westcott Designs be a good option for a 2017 with the billstein shocks with 40k miles on them vs the Fox shocks in later pros? I just found out about this lift option today and trying to weigh this versus a 2"-3" lift from Dobinsons or Toytec.

I don't want to do something cheaply and this is a very attractive pricepoint. Trying to gauge if this is worth it or if I should just go all in on something mentioned above. How is this not just a body/spacer lift?

I think the Wescott lift is just for the Pro/Fox suspension. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, that's how I took it. Mean to work with the stock TRD PRO suspension. I have a 2017 pro and I think those were billstien shocks rebadged to TRD shocks. Later the shocks in the PRO were moved to FOX I believe.
