Are these problems my responsibility or the installer responsibility?

This is a common problem. If you don't want to take it back to the installer, you could just clean up the leakage mess and re-tighten the clamp. Three times was a charm for me (only once on the left return side). Just checked after the last tightening, which was a few of months ago ... no runs, no drips, no errors. Also check the coolant level in the reservoir. Should be at the bottom of the return hose inlet (left side). Mine was installed by the dealer when new, so I guess they used Toyota coolant. That's what I put back in. Only took about 1/8 cup. You could also add a constant pressure clamp for piece of mind. Not catastrophic. Good luck and enjoy the extra "git up and go!" Hope this helps.
BTW, looks like your intake hose clamp needs to be moved closer to the throttle body at the top. It's not where it should be. There are ribs where the clamp needs to be between. Just and observation.
